In June 2021, 16 Bit was selected for the INOVAIT program. The Pilot program supported the development of Rho, its regulatory approvals, and collection of real-world data from imaging facilities.
The INOVAIT program is a network that provides a platform for projects and ventures that have made breakthroughs in image-guided therapies and artificial intelligence to improve medical imaging and diagnostics. Its goal is to invest in, educate, and connect promising ventures and the brightest minds in the image-guided therapy sector.
INOVAIT aims to bring Canada to the forefront of the image-guided therapy industry to improve patient outcomes, lower healthcare costs, and fuel the development of the Canadian economy. Since 2020, the Sunnybrook Research Institute and the Government of Canada’s Strategic Innovation Fund have led and supported INOVAIT in investing in partnerships to bring together companies of all sizes, not-for-profit and research organizations, and post-secondary institutions.
